A sister piece to Timeworn Old Greek Village Dwelling #1, this design uses the same basic framework but everything else has been re-imagined. Many old traditional Greek buildings have this thickly applied render which artfully crumbles away as time bites at it. The double door I photographed in the same village, and similarly the same somewhat sun baked shutters. As so often with old buildings and their individual charm, it is the subtlety and warmth of the ochreโs, siennaโs and umbers, and in some ways the neglect, that makes them such a pleasure to record.
